Everyone has opinions about marketing, which is exactly the trap
Marketing feels accessible because you are a consumer, so assignments attract assertion rather than analysis. The points go to work that applies a framework properly and supports its recommendations with something other than what seems appealing.

A SWOT that lists everything has analyzed nothing
Frameworks are tools for reaching a conclusion, not sections to fill. A SWOT with fifteen items per quadrant and no prioritization tells the reader you can brainstorm. The analysis is in saying which two strengths actually matter for this decision and why.
Segmentation is the other place points concentrate. Splitting a market by age and income is demographic description. Segmenting by need, behavior or job to be done produces segments you can actually target differently, and the assignment usually wants the second.
Then the recommendation. It needs a budget implication, a measure of success, and an acknowledgment of what could go wrong. A campaign idea with none of those is a pitch rather than a marketing plan.
- Frameworks used to reach a conclusion, not to fill sections
- Segments defined so they can actually be targeted differently
- Recommendations with measures and a budget implication
- Evidence cited rather than asserted from personal experience
What we work on
Your own assignment and your own rubric
- Marketing plans, end to end, with a realistic structure
- Segmentation, targeting and positioning that hold together
- Campaign and case analysis with a defensible recommendation
- Digital marketing metrics and what each one actually measures
- Consumer behavior theory applied to a specific case
Your analysis, your recommendation
- We do not write your marketing plans or case analyses.
- We do not supply completed assignments to adapt.
- We do not invent market data or survey results.
- We do not complete work you will submit under your own name.
- We teach the frameworks, review what you wrote, and test the reasoning.
If your assignment involves a real company, use published sources and cite them. Inventing plausible-looking market figures is a common shortcut and it is treated as fabrication. Read the full policy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Prioritize and connect. Say which two or three items actually bear on the decision, and use the analysis to produce a strategic implication: this strength addresses this threat, so the recommendation follows. A list with no implication is the version that loses points.
It has to be identifiable, reachable, substantial enough to be worth serving, and different enough that you would market to it differently. If your segments would all get the same campaign, they are descriptive categories rather than segments.
Your university library's industry databases first, then company annual reports and trade press. Cite everything with a date, because market figures age fast. What you cannot do is estimate a plausible number and present it as sourced.
Enough to justify the approach, applied rather than described. A paragraph defining a framework earns little. Using the framework to reach a conclusion the reader could not have reached without it is what the points are for.
Name the metric, the baseline and the timeframe, and pick a metric that connects to the objective. Awareness campaigns should not be measured on immediate conversion, and rubrics frequently test whether you know the difference.
