English is my second language. Is that a problem?
It is one of the most common reasons nurses come to us, particularly nurses trained outside the United States. The work is language and exam technique rather than clinical knowledge, and it is taught rather than corrected for you. NCSBN's 2025 figures show internationally educated candidates passing NCLEX-RN at 47.3% on a first attempt against 86.7% for US-educated candidates, so the gap is real and it is worth working on directly.
This comes up on Nursing & Healthcare Academic Support, where it is answered in the context of the work itself.
