How do I read a case in an hour?
Read the opening and the closing paragraphs and scan the exhibits first, and form a hypothesis about what the decision is. Then read for evidence bearing on that decision, skimming the rest. Reading linearly and hoping the point emerges is what produces summaries rather than analyses.
