The deadline that matters is yours, not ours
Work back from your submission and leave time for what happens after delivery. You need to read the tracked changes, decide on each one, and act on any comments about your argument. On a dissertation chapter that is an evening. On a full dissertation it can be a week.
A document returned the night before submission is a document you will accept wholesale without reading, which wastes most of what you paid for. The reasons written beside each change are the part that makes the next chapter better, and they only work if there is time to read them.
So when we ask for your deadline we mean the date you want it back, not the date you submit. If those are the same date, tell us and we will say honestly whether it is worth doing.

One to three weeks for a full dissertation, depending on length and condition. Chapter by chapter spreads this out and is usually easier to plan around.
Minus a buffer
Something always takes longer than expected, usually on your side rather than ours. A few days of slack is the difference between a calm submission and a bad week.
That is when to send it
Which is usually several weeks earlier than people expect. If that date has passed, tell us anyway and we will say what is realistic in the time left.
What we will not do to hit a deadline

- If the honest answer is that there is not enough time, we say so.
